Canada’s annual inflation rate remained unchanged and relatively strong
According to Stats Canada annual inflation remained fairly strong sitting at 2.9 percent in November. The agency says that Canadians are being charged much more at the pump over the same time last year. Gas cost 13.5 percent more last month than it did 12 months earlier. From month-to-month, gas prices fell 2.3 percent in November from October. The food cost was 4.8 percent more in November then a year ago, the largest gain since 2009.
