Building permits relatively steady in Whitby for November

Building permit sales in Whitby last month were pretty much on par with 2010. There were a total of 85 permits sold in November, down just 18 from the same month last year. Year-to-date numbers are up with 1,158 permits sold so far in 2011, which 56 more than in 2010. The construction value for those permits is up just over 2 per cent to more than $247 million.
