Whitby and Oshawa named among the top 25 places to live in Canada

MoneySense has released its annual list of best places to live across the country, and Durham Region is well represented with two municipalities in the top 25. The Town of Whitby slots in at number 16, with focus on the towns transit infrastructure, as well as population-to-crime ratio. Mayor Pat Perkins is thrilled that Whitby is being recognized nationally for the hard work she and her colleagues have put in. Not far behind Whitby on the list is the City of Oshawa, which came in at number 22.
