The Town of Ajax officially opens a multi-use connecting trail system

Ajax residents now have more places to roam. The Town has completed construction of the Taunton Multi-use Trail, a five kilometre right-of-way providing safe connections between neighbourhoods, to trails and to local amenities. Ajax is now calling itself the trail capital of Durham Region, having more than 80 kilometres of trail to explore and a $5-million commitment in place to bring that to 105 kilometres.
