Target takes aim in Durham

Durham Market Information

DURHAM — Three Zellers locations in Durham Region could soon become Target stores.

Zellers stores at the Durham Centre in Ajax, Five Points Shopping Centre in Oshawa, and Taunton Gardens Power Centre in Whitby have been chosen by Target as potential future locations for the store. The sites were announced in Target’s first round of leasehold selections, which will see the company take over up to 220 Zellers’ store spaces through a $1.825-billion agreement.
