Pickering development decision heading to Ontario Municipal Board

PICKERING — Emery Homes is taking its plan for a Pickering development to the Ontario Municipal Board after council voted not to endorse the project.

Patricia Foran, a lawyer with Aird and Berlis, spoke on behalf of Emery Homes at a council meeting on May 22, expressing the developer’s disappointment with an earlier decision by councillors not to endorse a staff report recommending they approve the development application at a planning and development committee meeting on May 7.
