New Durham Region Transit buses set to hit the streets

Durham Region Transit has unveiled a new fleet of both traditional and specialty buses that will soon be rolling out in the area. A total of 23 buses in all were purchased from Metrolinx and according to Metrolinx President Bruce McCuaig, the new fleet will greatly help out transit users by adding a new dimension of reliability. Since it’s inception in 2006, DRT has purchased a total of 68 buses from the company, saving $900,000 dollars in all.
