Durham housing remains affordable compared to the rest of the GTA

Durham Market Information

House prices in Durham Region and across the GTA are continuing to rise. According to Deirdre Mullen, president of the Durham Region Association of Realtors, the average price of a home in Durham in September was just over $317,000, while it was more than $500,000 for the rest of the GTA. Mullen says the types of homes that are most in demand in Durham Region include single detached and freehold townhouses.
