Application rates soar at Oshawa campus of Trent University

The Oshawa campus of Trent University had some special guests on Friday, as the school’s board of governors was on hand for their annual general meeting. The major news from the meeting was a serious jump in application numbers, up 33 percent from just a year ago. Oshawa Mayor John Henry says the fact that such a large and diverse group wants to move to the city, can only mean good things going forward. The Oshawa campus opened in October 2010, making it the third post secondary institute in the city, joining Durham College and UOIT.
