Pickering – Seaton Update

As part of the City’s implementation of the CPDP, the City, Province of Ontario, Ontario Realty Corporation, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Seaton landowners have reached an agreement on an amendment to the Pickering Official Plan that will delete the Seaton Urban Study Area and provide the necessary policy framework for the development of Seaton that will accommodate a population of61,000 people and 30,500 jobs by 2031.
