New Brooklin School Proposed

Durham Market Information

WHITBY — With the increasing population and enrolment pressures in Brooklin, a couple of Durham trustees are working to bring a new school to the area.

Whitby Durham District School Board Trustees Christine Winters and Kimberly Zeppieri spoke to the media June 3 about a submission to the Province for a new elementary school in Brooklin. The proposed site is located on property of Tribute Homes on Carnwith Drive West, just west of Montgomery Avenue.
