Officials discuss gaming possibilities in Whitby

The Whitby Chamber of Commerce is hoping council will be in agreement that the town should host an OLG gaming facility.  The chamber is lobbying the idea to council, and CEO Gordon Mackey says OLG  has set up 29 gaming zones throughout the province to host a gaming facility.  Whitby, Ajax and Pickering are Zone C-3.  The town of Whitby will be discussing the issue at a meeting on August 14th.
