DURHAM — More and more students are flocking to UOIT, Trent Oshawa and Durham College this fall. Whitby building permit sales fall

Building permit sales were down in the town of Whitby last month.  The town sold 69 permits, which was well below the 143 sold in July of 2011.  Total construction value also took a hit, dropping to under $14 million, a fall of about 54 percent from last year. http://www.durhamradionews.com/archives/47754

Approval given for ethanol plant to be built at the Oshawa Harbour

Oshawa fire officials update by-laws
