Location Context: Our new meeting location is at the Second Floor Theatre Room overlooking the track at the Abilities Centre.  If you go to the front besk of the Abilities Centre they will walk you there.  Or simply follow the ramp up and you will walk past the Theatre. The parking lot is located on the West Side of the building along Gordon Street.

Speaker Showcase:

Spencer and Ashley are Niagara- based real estate investors with a shared love of travel, fitness, and dogs. They started investing in 2018 and have since expanded their portfolio to 13 units with a mix of short- term and long-term rentals. Spencer and Ashley co-founded Travelluxe Inc. in 2019, a short-term rental management company, which currently manages over 45 units across Canada. They were able to leave their corporate jobs in 2021 and 2022 to focus all their efforts on their businesses. Their love for travel has brought them all around the world in premium cabins using points and miles, where they are able to mix work and pleasure by creating systems that allow them to be location independent. When not travelling, you can find Spencer and Ashley at home with their two fur-babies, Tucker and Stella.

Michelle and Marten Wind have a shared passionate in real estate investing, helping others and a desire for financial freedom. They specialize currently in student rentals, small multi families and compliment this with owning and operating a property management company. They chose to grow their portfolio in Peterborough as well
as manage the majority of their property management there as well. They approach each opportunity with enthusiasm and commitment while working on growing all their investments.
Michelle retired from General Motors once they shut down the Oshawa Plant in October 2019 and Marten retired from 30+ years of Policing in January of 2020. They focused on family, real estate investments, and their business. They bring experience and a growth mind set to the table and treat their owners as partners in this real estate investing journey.
They look to make strong contributions to this industry from both Real Investing and the Property Management.

Shan De Mel – Regional Channel Manager – Reverse Mortgages

Shan comes to Equitable Bank with 30+ years of sales and finance experience across the Retail Banking, Insurance, and Mortgage Brokerages sectors. He joins with extensive reverse mortgage experience, having spent the last 5 years at Home Equity Bank. Outside of work, Shan enjoys staying active playing squash, running, and biking.
