Location Context: Our new meeting location is at the Second Floor Theatre Room overlooking the track at the Abilities Centre.  If you go to the front besk of the Abilities Centre they will walk you there.  Or simply follow the ramp up and you will walk past the Theatre. The parking lot is located on the West Side of the building along Gordon Street.

Alex Ford, an experienced real estate investor with a portfolio that includes 2 duplexes and 2 single-family homes. With a background spanning over two decades in The financial industry, Alex is determined to leverage real estate as a means to secure a prosperous financial future. He is a dedicated family man, married, father of three, and has successfully completed two duplex conversions.

Austin James
Team Lead and VP, Debt Capital Markets
Austin is a leading commercial real estate finance professional with nearly a decade of experience in various financial services roles ranging from commercial real estate and development financing to business owner wealth and estate planning, insurance, strategic
growth planning for mid-market commercial banking clients and more. 

Prior to joining team Finneo, Austin was a consistently awarded commercial real estate originator and portfolio manager with RBC Royal Bank in Downtown Toronto. Austin specializes in commercial mortgages, land and construction financing, bridge financing and CMHC. He currently heads up a team with staff out of Toronto and San Francisco and has contributed to debt originations of over $1 Billion.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Program from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending his weekends outdoors with family and friends.

Russell Myshasty

Russell is an experienced commercial real estate lending professional with over 8 years of
experience with the leading commercial banks in commercial real estate and construction
services – financing developments, owner-occupied and income-producing properties, business
owner wealth and estate planning, comprehensive strategic growth planning and advisory for
mid-market commercial banking clients.
Most recently, Russell was a Relationship Manager in the commercial real estate space as an
originator and portfolio manager with RBC Royal Bank. He specializes in commercial R/E assets
such as industrial, multifamily, retail, office, mixed-use, and land bridge construction financing to CMHC.
Russell holds an Master’s of Business Administration Degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He looks forward to utilizing his breadth of experience coupled with his relationship approach to provide the best in market results with Finneo’s industry-leading tech-enabled platform.

Felix Vortsman is the Founder and Chief Millionaire Maker at Cloud9Life, a real estate investment expert, coach and sales representative at Rock Star Real Estate Inc., Brokerage. 

With over 13 years experience as a sophisticated real estate investor and over two decades in the corporate world as a CFO, CPA, financial restructuring and improvement specialist within the manufacturing, construction, real estate development and multi-family renovation industries, Felix employs several real estate investment strategies.

In 2018, he pioneered the strategy of converting single-family homes into legal 3+ unit dwellings in Ontario, using only the existing building envelope.

Over the past few years, Felix has been increasingly focused on larger scale syndicated private and preferred equity opportunities within the multi-family repositioning, purpose built multi-family, high-rise, low-rise and institutional development spaces, both passively and actively.

Today, Felix and his partners own 570 multi-family and single-family units and are participating in repositioning and developing several thousand low-rise, high-rise and purpose-built rental units in both Canada and the USA, with a keen focus on creating multiple six figure income streams, diversification, maximizing ROI and cash flow.
